The Sweetest Halloween Yet at Swizzels HQ!
This year’s Swizzels Halloween Community Event was our spookiest and sweetest yet — and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout! Over 2,000 people joined us outside Swizzels HQ in New Mills for an evening packed with games, treats, and plenty of frightful fun.
Spooky Games and Family Fun
Families tested their skills on a range of ghoulish games, including Beat the Frankie Buzzer, Hook a Dead Duck, and Skull Knockdown — with laughter echoing through the night as everyone tried their luck! The atmosphere was buzzing (quite literally!) as children and parents enjoyed the spooky setups, creative costumes, and of course, heaps of Swizzels sweets.
Supporting Our Local Community
Halloween at Swizzels isn’t just about sweets — it’s about giving back. This year, we raised over £1,000 for the New Mills Volunteer Centre, thanks to the generosity of visitors who made voluntary donations in exchange for a Swizzels-branded Trick or Treat bag. Every penny helps support the amazing work the centre does for our local community, and we’re proud to lend a helping hand.
Five Years of Frightful Fun
This was our fifth year hosting Halloween at Swizzels HQ, and it was without a doubt the best one yet! From the spooky decorations and creative costumes to the joyful trick-or-treating and endless Swizzels goodies, the event was fun from start to finish.
We love seeing the local community come together year after year to celebrate Halloween with us — it’s a reminder of what makes New Mills such a special place to call home.
